About the Conference
The 2nd Annual Desert Foot East 2025 Conference brought wound care and limb salvage training, similar to its parent conference that takes place in Phoenix, AZ each year, to a northeast Teaneck, NJ audience this past weekend. Conference Chairman Robert Frykberg, DPM, MPH, Podiatry Residency Director and Professor/Clinical, Department of Orthopaedics at UT Health San Antonio, ran an excellent state-of-the-art lecture and workshop program.
Paul Kesselman, DPM, DABFAS, DABMSP has graciously provided the slides for his two part lecture titled Maintaining Compliance for a Successful Wound Care Practice here.
The Federal Services Podiatric Medical Association held their annual meeting on Saturday night.
The dates for the 2026 Desert Foot East Conference will be announced. We look forward to seeing you at Desert Foot East next year!

What Attendees Are Saying
This is the most productive use of my time for any conference in the Northeast.
Nicholas Szwaba, MS, DPM
On a scale of 1 to 10 the Desert Foot East (NJ) Conference was a huge 10! The exhibition hall was enough to hold my attention for hours; I so appreciated that the vendors were more interested in introducing & educating attendees on their products than pushing a sale(great)! The workshops were excellent, I loved the format and content.
Jacqueline R Porter, DPM

I thoroughly enjoyed Desert Foot East. Desert Foot East actually exceeded expectations for me, and I had a great time networking, trying out the products, talking to sponsors and participating in the workshops. The lectures were also very informative. Definitely recommend.

We saw exciting improvements on traditional therapies and new innovative TOOLS. Workshops gave us hands-on time with state of the art instruments of medicine. New innovative devices challenge the limits of medicine with the goal of pain free healthy patients.
