Inaugural PRESENT Desert Foot East Conference Blooms in the Northeast

About the Conference

The Inaugural Desert Foot East Conference, hosted by PRESENT e-Learning Systems, took place June 1-2, 2024 at the Hilton Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ, bringing evidence-based practices in limb salvage and wound care to a northeast audience. Chaired by Robert Frykberg, DPM, MPH, the program featured experts, many of them new to PRESENT, sharing their knowledge through lectures on vascular assessment, diabetic foot osteomyelitis, pharmacotherapeutic Interventions for vascular disease, managing the diabetic foot, diabetic Charcot foot, and much more. The interactive hands-on workshops on a new portable cryosurgery device, fish skin technology, multi-layered platelet rich fibrin patch, postoperative bracing, Fibrinet in foot and ankle procedures, and antimicrobial wound irrigation were well attended.

The Federal Services Podiatric Medical Association held their annual meeting on Saturday night.

We look forward to seeing you in New Jersey next year!
